The Sheet Metal Occupational Health Institute Trust (SMOHIT) will hold its annual SMART MAP Training for Local 24 Dayton Members and SMRCA Contractors on September 30 - October 2, 2025.
SMART MAP is a mental health awareness and peer training program that highlights the mental health issues associated with drug and alcohol abuse, suicide, and self-care then builds peer training support and resources for union members and their families. SMART MAP Mentors are compassionate, empathetic, and well-respected union members who offer support and direction to our members during some of life’s most challenging moments.
If you are interested in receiving this peer focused training and becoming a peer mentor, Local 24 Dayton and the mental health team at SMOHIT will provide a two-day training for union members and a one-day session for SMRCA Contractors.
